CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan – A police officer and two suspects were injured in an anti-drug operation in Barangay Pandayan, Meycauayan City that also resulted in the confiscation of approximately PHP5.4 million worth of shabu on Sunday morning.
Based on a statement of Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, Police Regional Office-Central Luzon Director, operatives of the Special Drug Enforcement Unit under the Meycauayan City Police Station were conducting a casing and surveillance operation against suspects alias “Dan” and alias “Analyn” when the former opened fire while in a private vehicle.
Article continues after this advertisement“The police returned fire, and despite the suspects’ attempt to escape, they were quickly caught and arrested,” Maranan said.
